LJ’s Fish and Chip Month Giveaway Terms and Conditions
1. The Promoter
The promoter of this competition is LJ’s Systems Limited (the “Promoter”) of Building 2, Unit 8, 15 Accent Drive, East Tamaki, Auckland 2013.
2. The Competition
2.1. Competition Name: LJ’s Fish and Chip Month Giveaway (the “Competition”).
2.2. Competition Period: The Competition commences on 3 November 2025 at 00:00 and ends on 30 November 2025 at 11:59 (the “Competition Period”).
3. Eligibility to Enter
3.1. General: Entry is open only to residents of New Zealand who are aged 18 years or older at the time of entry.
3.2. Exclusions: Employees, directors, management, and immediate family members of the Promoter, its associated companies, and any agencies associated with this Competition are ineligible to enter.
3.3. Entry Requirements: Entrants must comply with all the instructions specified in the original social media post advertising the Competition (the “Competition Post”) and these Terms and Conditions.
4. How to Enter
4.1. Entry Method: To enter, entrants must make a purchase at any LJ’s location and complete the LJ’s Fish and Chip Month 2025 Giveaway Entry Form within the Competition Period.
4.2. Multiple Entries: Entrants with multiple purchases at any LJ’s location are allowed to enter the Competition multiple times.
4.3. Validation: The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s age, identity, and residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is incomplete, illegible, indecipherable, or who is otherwise in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
5. The Prize
5.1. Prize Details: The Prizes are 1x Shimano surfcasting package + fishing essentials valued $500+, 5x LJ’s gift packs.
5.2. Prize Conditions: The Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other goods or services. The voucher or prize must be taken as stated and is subject to the terms and conditions of the Prize provider (if applicable).
5.3. Costs: Any costs associated with accessing or using the Prize, including but not limited to travel, postage (if applicable), or any expenses of a personal nature, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
6. Winner Selection and Notification
6.1. Selection Method: The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received during the Competition Period.

The winner’s name may also be announced on the Promoter’s social media channels. 6.4. Unclaimed Prizes: The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted, or does not respond to the notification within 7 business days, the Prize will be forfeited, and the Promoter reserves the right to redraw a new winner on the same terms and conditions as the original draw.
7. Publicity and Privacy
7.1. Consent: By accepting the Prize, the winner consents to the Promoter using their name, city/town of residence, and entry details for any future promotional and publicity purposes in any media worldwide, without any further compensation, and agree to make themselves available for a photo or interview if requested.
7.2. Privacy: All personal information collected by the Promoter is subject to the Promoter’s Privacy Policy. The information collected will be used solely for the purpose of administering this Competition and contacting the winner. You have the right to access and correct your personal information.
8. General Conditions
8.1. Social Media Disclaimer: This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any social media platform. You understand that you are providing your information to the Promoter and not to the social media platform.
8.2. Limitation of Liability: To the greatest extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its associated companies, and any agencies involved with this Competition shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered or sustained (including, but not limited to, consequential loss) as a result of entering the Competition or accepting/using the Prize.
8.3. Disruption: If the Competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, to the fullest extent permitted by law, to disqualify any entrant or to modify, suspend, or cancel the Competition as appropriate.
8.4. Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. The Promoter’s decision on all matters relating to the Competition is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
